Melissa Rose is a lifelong spiritual explorer, certified Death Doula, practicing tarot-pist, and mother of three thriving adult children. Raised attending both Catholic and various Protestant Christian church services in Baltimore, Maryland, she became interested in Egyptian Spiritual teachings of Ra Un Nefer Amen as a teenager at which point she learned the basics of meditation, holistic medicine, divination, and astrology. Melissa's early 20’s were marked by an exploration of atheism, Buddhism, Taoism, and included spending nearly a year attending weekly meditations at the former Siddha Yoga Meditation Center to study the teachings of Swami Muktananda. After finding deep resonance in earth-based Wiccan tenants Melissa became a member of the Circle of Amber Rose, an eclectic Gardnerian coven formerly located in Southern Maryland, where after a decade of self-development and ritualizing, became a 3rd Degree Elder of the tradition and began her own coven in Austin, Texas in 2016. Over the years Melissa has extensively studied Wicca, Kabbalah, Hoodoo, Western Occultism, Mediumship and has attended live seminars with leaders such as Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki, Christopher Penczak, Orion Foxwood, Ivo Dominguez Jr, Phyllis Curott, Patricia Cota-Robles, Abraham Hicks, and Amma, the hugging Guru. Practicing with the Gnostics, Druids, Rosicrucians, Spiritualists and participating in multiple psychedelic ceremonies with Mexican Huichol and Peruvian Shipibo Shamans has deeply enriched her journey allowing her to provide a unique perspective to spirituality and psychic development. She is currently an ordained Wiccan Priestess and sitting Vice President of the Temple of the Roses and works a day job as a business professional to fund her adventures.
